Ravic85: From Magic: The Gathering to Poker Stardom

Ravic85's journey into the world of poker began around 2007, transitioning from his successful career in Magic: The Gathering. He started playing poker professionally after being inspired by other players who had made the switch, such as Zedmor – Аким Акимов.

Ravic85's early days in poker were not without challenges. He initially struggled, losing around $800 before finding his stride in heads-up turbo SNGs. His transition to offline poker began after his internet was disconnected, leading him to play at the 'Metelitsa' club, where he quickly found success.

Ravic85's success in Magic: The Gathering included winning the Russian championship and participating in various international tournaments. He also mentioned the influence of other games like Hearthstone, which, although simpler, has gained more popularity among streamers.
