Prediction Tournament Wrap-Up: Dmitry 'Holtoff' Wins After Winner Refuses Prize
The prediction tournament, which ran from June 29 to July 5, followed the same rules as the previous one, with the winner receiving $50 in their Pinnacle account. The most popular match and other interesting statistics are highlighted, along with updates and the winner who refused the prize.
Andrey 'master_TAG' led for several days but was overtaken by Dmitry 'gstrs' and Dmitry 'Holtoff' on the last day. The winner, Dmitry 'gstrs', lives in Nizhny Novgorod and is 29 years old. Dmitry 'gstrs' attributed his win to a lucky streak of variance, as he had no experience in betting. The winner refused the prize, so the second place, Dmitry 'Holtoff', received it.
The tournament featured updates such as displaying the current balance and automatically adjusting the maximum bet amount. In the 'History of Bets' section, a switch for results for the current week and the year was added. In the coming days, its appearance will be improved and functions will be added – it will be possible to filter bets and view results separately for each type of sport, as well as output a list of bets that have not yet been played.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
