PokerStars Teams Up with One Drop Foundation for Charity Event at EPT Monte Carlo
PokerStars and the One Drop Foundation have announced a partnership for the upcoming European Poker Tour (EPT) Monte Carlo with the goal of raising funds for global water access incentives. 3% of each buy-in for the prestigious €100,000 High Roller at EPT Monte Carlo will be donated to One Drop’s global safe water projects, while the operator will only take 1% for operating costs.
The “€100k High Roller for One Drop” will be the latest in a series of similar initiatives that the One Drop Foundation has been a part of in the poker world, starting with “The Big One for One Drop” back in 2012. PokerStars ambassador Jason Koon will be representing the operator in this historic event.
The new partnership between PokerStars and the One Drop Foundation comes as part of Flutter’s broader “Do More” campaign, which seeks to create lasting and meaningful change in communities where Flutter employees live and work. The One Drop Foundation was founded by Guy Laliberte, the owner of Cirque du Soleil and a high-stakes poker player in his own right. The Foundation has had great success raising money for its cause through charity tournaments, dating back to the first-ever $1,000,000 “Big One for One Drop,” organized in collaboration with the WSOP in 2012.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
