PokerStars Launches Million Dollar Challenge TV Show
PokerStars has announced the launch of a new TV show called PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge. The show will air on the Fox channel, with the first episode scheduled for October 11. The format of the show involves online satellite players competing against professionals to win up to $1,000,000.
One of the new features is that participants will have the opportunity to use the coaching services of Daniel Negreanu. Winners of the freerolls will have to record a two-minute video explaining why they deserve the chance to compete with professionals. The winners must arrive at the show with two friends who will help them decide whether to take the money or continue playing.
This new show is a response to Full Tilt's Face the Ace, which faced low ratings and was moved to a less favorable time slot. PokerStars aims to learn from Full Tilt's mistakes and create a more engaging and entertaining experience for viewers.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
