PokerStars Cancels 2026 North American Poker Tour in Las Vegas
PokerStars has canceled the 2026 North American Poker Tour stop in Las Vegas. A PokerStars representative confirmed that the company will focus on building its platform on FanDuel and other aspects of its business in the U.S. and internationally.
The NAPT Las Vegas series could return in the future with a new casino partner. PokerStars previously held the NAPT series at Resorts World, which closed its poker room in March. The company merged its American poker client into FanDuel in March, combining player pools from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Michigan.
Gal Yifrach won the 2025 NAPT main event for $543,025. Michael Linster won the main event of the PokerStars Open series in Philadelphia for $126,705. PokerStars is hosting the Maryland State Poker Championship in August.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
