PokerMatch's Saturday Workout Tournaments Now in PKO Format

PokerMatch has introduced significant changes to their popular Saturday Workout tournaments. The buy-in for these tournaments will now be stable at 22₴, with a guarantee of 200,000₴. This change aims to provide players with a consistent entry fee while maintaining substantial prize pools.

The most notable change is the introduction of the Progressive Knockout (PKO) format. In this format, players can earn money for each opponent they eliminate. The bounty increases progressively as more players are eliminated, adding an exciting dynamic to the tournament.

Players can still qualify for the Saturday Workout tournaments through various satellites. The next tournaments are scheduled for September 19 and 26, giving players ample time to prepare and participate. PokerMatch wishes all players good luck in their upcoming games.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
