Poker Pro Wins $6.4 Million Jackpot at Las Vegas Casino
Thomas Evans Zanot, a professional poker player, won a staggering $6.4 million jackpot playing Pai Gow at a Las Vegas casino. This win is set to change his life forever. To win the top progressive jackpot in Pai Gow, a player must first place a wager on a side bet and then hit a seven-card straight flush.
The win is particularly impressive given Zanot's typical playing style. He has over $1.1 million in live poker tournament winnings according to Hendon Mob and is known to play in low to mid-stakes events. This massive win could see him moving up to higher stakes games.
Zanot's success isn't limited to this recent win. He has 60 cashes in bracelet events and another 12 in Circuit ring tournaments at the World Series of Poker. His most recent tournament appearance was last month, where he placed 33rd in the WPT World Championship series at Wynn Las Vegas, taking home $99,600.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
