Poker Players Rally to Aid Those Affected by COVID-19

Poker players around the world are finding ways to support those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The community has shown remarkable creativity and generosity in their efforts to help.

Daniel Negreanu, a prominent figure in the poker world, has urged casino owners to close their establishments as soon as possible. He expressed concern that some employees might already be infected, and closing the casinos could help contain the spread. This call to action comes as Nevada has issued an order to close hotels, casinos, and other non-essential businesses.

Mikkka Anttonen, another notable poker player, has made two parts of his book freely available to help people pass the time in self-isolation. The first part, Once A Gambler: The Escape, and the second part, Once A Gambler: The Drift, are now accessible to anyone who wants to download them for free. Anttonen hopes that his books will provide some entertainment and distraction during these challenging times.
