Dusty 'Leatherass' Schmidt has made a triumphant return to the world of poker. The legendary multi-table player can now be found at the tables of Americas Cardroom and streaming on Twitch. In his blog, Schmidt revealed that he returned to the game about a year ago, playing six tables at a time and streaming for 30-40 hours a week. He expressed his joy at being back in the game, stating that poker is once again bringing him pleasure after a long hiatus.
Ilari Sahamies has made a unique foray into the entertainment industry by starring in a music video for the Finnish hip-hop group Teflon Brothers. Sahamies paid €50,000 for the appearance, adding to his list of artistic endeavors. Other poker players who have dabbled in artistic projects include Jeff Madsen and Prahlad Friedman, though none can match the popularity of Thomas 'SrslySirius' Killings.
Daniel Negreanu has taken up the cause of addressing the rake issue in PLO on PokerStars. During a visit with Joe Ingram, Negreanu promised to discuss the matter with the room's management. The issue arises from the identical rake collection scheme in PLO and NLHE, which results in a significant difference in bb/100 when converted. Negreanu has already posted about this on 2+2, but a meeting with PokerStars management has not yet been confirmed.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
