Poker World Shaken by Arrests, Lithuanian Recognition, and Isildur1's Surprise Move
The poker world has seen significant developments recently. The final two suspects in the EPT Berlin robbery were arrested over the weekend. Mustafa Ukarus was arrested at Berlin airport based on a tip from his own lawyer. Jihad Chitvi was arrested at Berlin airport after returning from Lebanon. Chitvi preferred to be arrested in Germany rather than in Lebanon.
In other news, Lithuania's Ministry of Physical Culture and Sport recognized the Lithuanian Federation of Sport Poker as an official sports organization. Andrius Tapinas, the president of the Lithuanian Federation of Sport Poker, is a prominent TV personality in Lithuania. Tapinas runs a poker blog at http://pokerblog.lt.unibet.com/.
Meanwhile, Isildur1 won $82,000 in a session against Cole South. Isildur1 ended the session early, citing the need to leave.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
