Phil Ivey's High-Stakes Poker Room Opens at Aria Resort & Casino
The Ivey Room, a high-stakes poker room, will open at Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on May 21-22. The room will feature an invitation-only freeroll with a prize pool of $1,000,000. The winner of the freeroll will play a heads-up match against Phil Ivey for $250,000.
Phil Ivey will play in the freeroll, with a bounty of $100,000 on his head. Additionally, $200,000 in bounties will be distributed among players who eliminate other VIP players. The room will have a total of eight prizes, with the last prize being $5,000.
Phil Ivey, known for his legendary poker skills, has been active recently. On April 22 and 23, he won $377,000 in 7 games online. On April 24 and 25, he won $395,000 from theASHMAN103 in 191 hands online.
