Phil Hellmuth: 'My Goal is 24 Bracelets' — Poker Legend's Future Plans
Phil Hellmuth, the poker legend, has been making waves with his recent departure from UB. In an interview, he revealed that both he and Annie Duke left the company on the same day, a coincidence that many found hard to believe. However, Hellmuth assured that their departures were purely coincidental and based on individual business decisions.
Hellmuth is currently exploring offers from multiple poker sites, including Poker Stars, Full Tilt, and Bodog. He emphasized that while financial conditions are important, the alignment between his personal brand and the site's values is crucial. He is considering offers from various sites, including Zynga Poker, which could become a significant player if laws change.
In addition to his poker endeavors, Hellmuth is currently representing WSOP Academy and Aria Casino. He mentioned that his contract with Aria includes prominent branding, such as the Aria logo on his cap during Poker After Dark shows. Hellmuth also expressed his loyalty to UB, stating that he stayed with the company during a challenging period and helped prepare it for future success. Looking ahead, Hellmuth's new goal is to win 24 bracelets, a target he believes is achievable.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
