Patrick Leonard Wins Two Tournaments at WCOOP 2021
Patrick Leonard has made a strong start to the WCOOP 2021 series, securing two victories and leading the overall leaderboard. Leonard's first victory was in a $5,200 buy-in event, where he won $121,000. In the final heads-up, Leonard had 7-5 and collected three sevens on the river, while his opponent, Black88, had two pairs.
Leonard's second victory was in a $1,050 buy-in event, where he won $20,475. The tournament, which featured 70 entries and a prize pool of $70,000, concluded just two hours after it began. This event was a 2-7 single-draw discipline.
With two victories already under his belt, Leonard is well on his way to potentially matching Connor Drinan's record of five tournament wins in a single WCOOP series.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
