Palms Casino Las Vegas Opens New Smoke-Free Gaming Area

Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, has announced a significant expansion of its gaming floor with a new 7,300-square-foot area dedicated to non-smokers. This purpose-built space features 224 of the casino’s newest slot machines, providing a dedicated and separated gaming experience for non-smokers.

The new smoke-free gaming space will open to the public on Monday, August 24, 2026. Guests are invited to the Grand Opening celebration and the Spin ItForward IGT Celebrity Charity Slot Challenge on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The dedicated section will be located close to the William Hill Sportsbook, offering a convenient and enjoyable gaming experience for non-smokers.

Kevin Glass, the General Manager at Palms Casino Resort, highlighted that guest feedback was a key driver behind this expansion. "Guest feedback drives so much of what we do, and expanding our non-smoking gaming options is something we’ve heard consistently," Glass explained. This new space combines over 200 of the latest games, a dedicated bar, and a new gaming experience to create an entirely new way to play at Palms.
