Nik Airball Quits Investment Banking After Garrett Adelstein's Cheating Claims
Nik Airball, whose real name is Nikhil Arcot, has claimed that Garrett Adelstein's accusations of cheating caused him to quit his investment banking job. Airball mentioned that he worked at three different investment banking firms and was working as recently as late last year.
Airball stated that he was forced to choose between his job and poker after people in the poker community reached out to his office with hateful comments, causing problems at work. He decided to move on from the banking world.
Doug Polk expressed skepticism about Airball's claim of being a successful investment banker. A Twitter user posted a resume for Nikhil Arcot showing two internships and three posts in investment banking, but the jury remains out on Airball's back story.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
