Nik Airball Reveals $8 Million Loss in Poker Downswing
Poker player Nikhil "Nik Airball" Arcot has revealed that he is around $8,000,000 in the red after a prolonged downswing. The controversial character appeared on The Nick Vertucci show and delved into various relationships, including that with the game itself.
Nik Airball confirmed that the majority of the lost money was from his poker earnings, not other sources. He mentioned that the emotional pain of losing is more impactful than the financial loss.
Nik Airball lost $1 million to Matt Berkey in a heated online spat. He also lost another $1 million in the Hustler Casino Live $1 million buy-in cash game.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
