Poker Pro Nick Howard Criticizes European Player's Strategy at WSOP
Nick Howard, the CEO of Poker Detox Coaching and Training, shared a hand from the recent WSOP where he criticized an unnamed “Euro reg’s” play. Howard was moved to a new table with @tsarrast, a recreational player, and a few young European regulars. The flop was AQ8 with a flush draw, and the turn was an offsuit Ace. The European regular used a full clock before folding, seemingly oblivious to the absurdity of his behavior. The European regular's friends on the rail informed him that he had been bluffed, causing him to feel deeply ashamed.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
