NCPG Pushes for Default Responsible Gambling Rules in Pennsylvania
The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) is advocating for default responsible gambling rules for online accounts in Pennsylvania. The NCPG proposes that certain rules, particularly time and spending limits, should be implemented by default for new online accounts.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board supports proposals to make the Keystone State a safer place for gamblers. The NCPG believes that setting up tweaks at registration would be more impactful than incentivizing players to constantly change these limits.
The NCPG supports tougher restrictions on advertising and removing 'risk-free' and 'free' language from promotions.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
