Manuel Ferrari won the 2026 PokerStars European Poker Tour Barcelona €5,300 no-limit hold’em main event, earning $1,162,886 and 2,160 Card Player Player of the Year points. The tournament had 1,823 entries and a prize pool of $10,301,290. Ferrari's lifetime earnings have grown to nearly $1.7 million with this win.
The penultimate day began with 13 players remaining and Ferrari in the lead. He remained out in front after the seven eliminations of the session left just six contenders. The final two knockouts of the day both involved the best starting hand in hold’em.
The final hand of the tournament saw van Eeden shove from the button for 27.5 big blinds with K♠6♦. Ferrari made the call with A♦Q♥ in the big blind and held through a A♥6♣4♦Q♣7♦ runout to bring the event to a close. Ferrari's chip advantage had grown to more than 5:1 ratio going into heads-up play.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
