Lotos Poker and GipsyTeam Host $1,000 Prediction Contest for WSOP Main Event
Lotos Poker and GipsyTeam hosted a prediction contest for the WSOP Main Event final table. The contest featured nine questions about the final table of the WSOP Main Event, which was scheduled to take place at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas on October 30-31.
The final was postponed to avoid interfering with the U.S. presidential elections. The prize pool for the contest was $1,000, provided by LotosPoker. The top prize was $400, with additional prizes of $250 for second place, $150 for third place, and $100 for fourth and fifth places.
Participants had to answer questions about the final table, with the correct answers to questions 8 and 9 being counted at the moment of the first deal, and the points had to be on the table during the deal. The players in the dropdown list were listed according to the seating at the final table. The distribution of prizes was as follows: 1st place – $400, 2nd place – $250, 3rd place – $150, 4th-5th places – $100 each. In case of a tie in the number of correct answers, all prizes were split.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
