Kiev Poker Festival: Chinese Poker and Special Events Await
The Kiev Poker Festival, organized by VikPoker.com, is just a week away and promises an exciting lineup of events. One of the highlights will be the first Chinese poker tournament in the CIS region, which will be held as part of the festival.
The buy-in for the Chinese poker tournament is 400€, and organizers will add a ticket to the main RPT tournament (1700€) to the prize pool. The tournament will be overseen by Sergey "Gipsy" Rybachenko, a prominent promoter of Chinese poker in the CIS. A special table, the Gipsy Table, designed for 8 players and 2 dealers, will be used for the event. This table features a unique layout that simplifies the understanding of opponents' combinations.
In addition to the Chinese poker tournament, the festival will also feature the official anthem "RPT Anthem" by hiNt, crossthervr, and Total. The song, a rap ballad about the RPT, has been officially adopted as the anthem for the upcoming stage of the tournament. Participants will also have the opportunity to compete in the RPT Karaoke Battle with hiNt.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
