KGC in Contact with Blanca Games for AP/UB Player Compensation
The Kanawake Gaming Commission (KGC) has been in close and regular contact with Blanca Games Inc, the owner of Absolute Poker and UB.com, since the Black Friday incident. Their primary goal is to facilitate the compensation of players worldwide.
Blanca Games Inc has prepared a plan to liquidate assets and transfer the proceeds to affected players. This plan has been submitted to the prosecutor's office of the Southern District of New York. The debts of AP/UB to players amount to approximately $50 million. Wicked Chops Poker believes the sale of AP and UB software should cover player debts.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
