Kevin's WSOP Adventure: Triumphs and Missed Flights
Kevin participated in the 48th WSOP tournament, playing 7-2 Triple Draw for $2,500. He played against notable poker players such as Jeff Lisandro, Phil Hellmuth, and Daniel Negreanu during the tournament. Kevin was the chip leader with 2.5 average stacks during the first day, but lost almost all his chips in the last two levels.
On the second day, Kevin played against Daniel Negreanu and lost. He also played in the 7-2 Single Draw tournament for $1,500. Kevin and other Russian players stayed in the Meridian complex and spent time together, enjoying various activities and supporting each other during the tournaments.
Kevin's neighbor Vasiliy Ravic85 finished 131st in the Main Event and won $54,850. Unfortunately, Kevin missed his flight back to Moscow due to exchanging coins at a casino, resulting in additional costs and delays.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
