Joe Cada, the youngest winner of the WSOP Main Event, had a remarkable 2018 World Series of Poker. He won two bracelets and finished fifth in the main event, showcasing his skills and consistency in the poker world.
Cada's journey in poker began at the age of 15 when he started playing online. By the age of 18, he was already playing in Canadian casinos. His first major breakthrough came in 2009 when he won the WSOP Main Event at the age of 21, earning $8.5 million. Cada's success continued with his second bracelet win in 2014 in a $10,000 6-max championship event. In 2018, he added two more bracelets to his collection, including a win in a $3,000 shootout event. His fifth-place finish in the main event, earning $2.15 million, was a testament to his enduring talent and resilience.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
