Poker Pro Ilya Dusian and Trainer Andrey Rustin Analyze a Deep Stack Hand
Poker player Ilya Dusian analyzed a hand played in a Zoom poker game at the NL25 level, and trainer Andrey Rustin, from GT Pro Silver, reviewed his analysis.
Dusian considered increasing the pre-flop sizing to 14-14.5 big blinds. On the flop, he bet around 1/3 pot and planned to check the turn card. He planned to start betting aggressively on the turn, considering a bet of 28 big blinds.
Rustin agreed with Dusian's pre-flop analysis and suggested increasing the sizing to 15 big blinds. He also agreed that Dusian's flop play was standard and appropriate for a Zoom regular. On the turn, Rustin agreed that the card was suitable for aggressive betting. On the river, Dusian considered the opponent's tendencies before deciding on a bluff. Rustin suggested that Dusian's river analysis was good and that the hand was played well overall.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
