High-Stakes Poker Players Set New Online Records in Intense Session
High-stakes poker players set new records for the largest bank in NLHE online poker. The mysterious high-stakes player BIEDERMEIR, playing under the Austrian flag, was identified as Leon Tsukernik, who built his bankroll in the mid-90s by selling antiques. The game included known regulars such as Nikita Bodiakovsky, Victor Malinovsky, Katya_18, Marius 'DEX888' Girse, and Barak Visbrod.
BIEDERMEIR and Barak Visbrod played a bank of over $800k. BIEDERMEIR won a record bank in NLHE online poker history. The previous record was set in August 2020 by Ali Imisirovic and Tan Shuang. BIEDERMEIR's streak ended when Barak Visbrod got aces and updated the online record.
BIEDERMEIR left the game in sitout, and the regulars played a few more hands. Limitless sent a video message demanding that Barak Visbrod not leave early. Katya_18 won a significant pot in a heads-up against Malinovsky, ending the game. Malinovsky, Bodiakovsky, and Girse qualified for the final of Super MILLION$ with a prize pool exceeding $8 million.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
