Heart-Shaped Casino Resort Approved Near Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas
After years of failed attempts, a new heart-shaped casino resort is finally approved for construction near Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The 12-acre lot across from Mandalay Bay will be developed as a new Las Vegas casino resort property, featuring a 752-room hotel, will have a signature heart-shaped facade.
The new property comes after previous plans included a London-themed hotel. The site has been scouted out by prospective investors and developers for many years. Eli Applebaum, a developer, is aiming to build a hotel resort on a 12-acre property on Las Vegas Boulevard.
The signature feature of the new property would be its heart-shaped facade, which will be covered in LED screens, as the latest touch of extravagance, opulence, and flashiness in Las Vegas.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
