Flutter Entertainment Completes Merger with The Stars Group
Flutter Entertainment has completed its merger with The Stars Group, marking a significant shift in the online gaming industry. The newly merged company will begin trading on the London Stock Exchange under the Flutter Entertainment name. The merger was approved by shareholders in late April, and the London Stock Exchange began trading shares of the newly merged Flutter Entertainment on May 4.
Flutter Entertainment initially considered selling Paddy Power to facilitate the merger with The Stars Group. However, the merger proceeded without this sale. The merger is expected to have minimal impact on the poker rooms, as Flutter Entertainment may attempt to unify all poker rooms under the Stars brand, reducing competition among its own products.
Flutter Entertainment plans to reduce its divisions from 5 to 4 by merging The Stars Group and Paddy Power Betfair.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
