Flutter and BGC Members Raise £1.25 Million for Charities at Royal Ascot
Flutter UK & Ireland brands joined forces with other Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) members to donate profits from last Thursday’s Britannia Stakes event at Royal Ascot to UK charities. A total of £1.25 million was raised from the event.
Flutter brands including Sky Bet, Paddy Power and Betfair donated a total of £455,567 alone. Prostate Cancer UK, Marie Curie, the three Armed Forces charities and Care Radio will receive a share of the £1.25 million raised.
Conor Grant, Chief Executive Officer at Flutter UK&I, expressed his delight in partnering with other BGC members for this event, hoping that this donation will make a massive difference to the charities involved.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
