EducaPoker Switches to Euro as Its Official Currency Starting June 1
EducaPoker has announced a significant change in its currency policy. Starting June 1, 2019, the platform will switch from using the dollar to the euro as its official currency. This decision comes after careful consideration of the platform's user base and the challenges posed by using a foreign currency.
The current system, which uses the dollar as the currency of reference, has been in place for some time. However, EducaPoker has recognized that this system is no longer sustainable. The majority of its users, approximately 90%, are based in regions that use the euro. This discrepancy has led to complications in promotions and budget adjustments, as the platform has had to rely on foreign exchange rates.
By transitioning to the euro, EducaPoker aims to streamline its operations and better serve its user base. The change will take effect on June 1, 2019, and will apply to all aspects of the platform, including EducaPuntos, which are based on the rake generated in its rooms.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
