Ebony Kenney's $1.7 Million Poker Win Documented in New Film
Ebony Kenney, a professional poker player, made headlines six months ago when she won $1.7 million in a high-stakes tournament. Her incredible journey is now documented in a new film titled High Stakes: A Woman's Seat in a $200,000 Poker Tournament.
Kenney was invited to the $200k buy-in Coin Rivet Invitational tournament in Cyprus, where she competed against some of the world's top poker players. The tournament was part of the Triton SHR series, and Kenney had a total of $500k worth of buy-ins to enjoy. Her coach, Chance Kornuth, helped her prepare for the tournament, and Kenney finished 5th, earning $240,000.
The film is split into three 20-minute episodes, providing an in-depth look at Kenney's journey. It includes behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, and highlights from the tournament. Fans can enjoy the ACR pro’s wild ride with the release of a documentary charting Kenney’s incredible run!

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
