David Baker Wins First WSOP Bracelet in 2012
David “ODB” Baker won his first WSOP bracelet in 2012 in the tournament #37 (8 games).
David Baker has been playing poker professionally for the last six years. He started his poker career with home games with friends in limit hold'em. He quickly began to win consistently and decided to test himself in poker clubs with more serious money. He played within his bankroll and gradually reached quite respectable limits.
David Baker prefers live poker games over online poker. He mainly plays in California and less frequently in Las Vegas. His working limit is 200/400, and he sometimes plays higher if the compositions are very good. He prefers limit hold'em and 2-7 triple draw. He thinks that limit tournaments at the World Series of Poker are very profitable. He was satisfied with his performance at the 2012 World Series of Poker. He has improved psychologically in his poker game this year.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
