ClubWPT Gold Introduces Controversial 'Reveal Hands' Feature
ClubWPT Gold, the sweepstakes poker platform by World Poker Tour (WPT), has introduced a new feature called “Reveal Hands” that allows players to see the hole cards of every player at the table after a hand concludes for a small fee. The feature went live on Thursday morning following a scheduled server maintenance.
The Reveal Hands feature works by displaying a button beside a player's avatar after a hand is completed. Clicking this button instantly shows the hole cards of all players who participated in that hand. This information is also stored in the Hand History window and can be viewed through the Hand Replayer. If a player misses the opportunity to activate the feature in real time, they can still use it afterward through the Hand History or the Hand Replayer option.
The fee for using the Reveal Hands feature varies depending on the stakes being played, and the cost increases incrementally with each additional use during the same session. The cost ranges from two big blinds to three big blinds, depending on the table stakes. ClubWPT Gold maintains that the purpose of the feature is to help players “better analyze how a given hand played out” in ring games. However, the feature has already generated backlash from players on social media, with some players describing it as greedy.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
