Online Poker Traffic Surges in Chico Network During Pandemic

The Chico network, which includes Sportsbetting, Tigergaming, and BetOnline, has experienced a significant surge in online poker traffic during the coronavirus pandemic. The network has seen a doubling of game volume across all limits compared to February.

PokerStars Europe and PokerStars Italy reached their peak number of players in early April and have since either slightly declined or stagnated. In contrast, PokerStars New Jersey and PokerStars PA (Pennsylvania) have shown steady growth since early March. This difference in dynamics can be attributed to the varying speeds at which different regions implemented quarantine measures.

The win rates for regular players at low and medium limits in the Chico network have significantly increased during the pandemic. For example, the win rate for NL25 has increased from 2.61 bb/100 to 9.28 bb/100. The Chico network is offering several rake races in April, with prizes including cash and tournament tickets. Additionally, the network has introduced new rules limiting cashouts and the number of tables for active players. New players can receive a 100% bonus on their first deposit up to $1,000, along with four tickets to weekly freerolls. GipsyTeam offers additional bonuses and support for players in the Chico network.
