Casino Guru Wins Safer Gambling Award for Fourth Year Running
Casino Guru has won the Safer Gambling Initiative award at the iGB Affiliate Awards 2026. This is the fourth consecutive year that Casino Guru has received this accolade, highlighting the company’s ongoing commitment to making the gambling industry safer.
Among the key initiatives that led to this recognition is the Online Self-exclusion Recommended Code of Practice. This framework sets out evidence-based standards for online self-exclusion, promoting a unified approach to reducing gambling-related harm. It is designed to support immediate implementation across the industry to strengthen player protection systems.
Additionally, Casino Guru partnered with Gamecheck to integrate its verification system. This allows users to identify whether online casinos offer verified games certified directly by game providers through the Gamecheck framework. Šimon Vincze, Head of Sustainable & Safer Gambling at Casino Guru, commented on the award and the company’s initiatives.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
