Brayan Gastings Wins Big Against Isildur1, Phil Galfond Shares Insights
In a thrilling high-stakes poker match, Brayan Gastings from the USA played 2800 hands against Isildur1 from Sweden and won over $1.5 million.
Phil Galfond, known as OMGClayAiken, shared his thoughts on the match in an interview with PokerPlayer.co.uk. When asked about the match, Galfond mentioned that he could have won as much as Gastings if he were in his place. He also stated that he is taking a break from high-stakes poker to spend time with family and friends.
Galfond is currently playing at $25/$50 and $100/$200 limits, citing reasons such as a recent downswing and the availability of more games at these limits.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
