Bill Perkins Bluffs Bobby Baldwin in Epic High Stakes Poker Showdown
Bill Perkins pulled off an incredible bluff against poker legend Bobby Baldwin during a recent episode of High Stakes Poker on PokerGO. The game featured a $200/$400 No-Limit Hold'em 6-max with a straddle to $800. Bobby Baldwin straddled to $800, and Bill Perkins raised it up to $3,000 with 10♣6♣. Bobby Baldwin 3-bet to $9,000 with J♠J♥, and Bill Perkins made a loose call in position, building a pot of $19,000.
On the flop of 10♠8♠2♥, Bill Perkins flopped top pair but was still way behind Bobby Baldwin's overpair. Bobby Baldwin went for a big bet of $15,000 into $19,000, and Bill Perkins called, bringing the pot size up to $49,000. The turn brought the 5♠, completing the flush draw, and Bobby Baldwin fired a small bet of $20,000 into $49,000. Bill Perkins then raised to $60,000, turning his top pair into a bluff, trying to represent the flush. Surprisingly, Bobby Baldwin folded quickly, and Bill Perkins won a $129,000 pot with his well-timed aggression.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
