WSOP Main Event Day 6: Kassouf's Silence and Key Moments
The sixth day of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event began with 202 players. The game continued at the level of 30,000/60,000/60,000. In one of the first hands at the TV table, Munir Taj, representing Sweden, found himself in a difficult situation on the river.
William Kassouf arrived 10 minutes late and had his time counted from the first hands. Steve O’Dwyer called on players to constantly monitor Kassouf’s time, reminding everyone that they have the right to use this tool and demand that the floor keep him in check.
Kassouf entered the list of tournament leaders with a stack of 10 million chips. Maxim Pisarenko eliminated Romain Loke on the 164th place. Nick Schulman was announced as a new member of the Poker Hall of Fame. Roman Korenev exited the tournament on the 148th place. Chad Power became the new chip leader with a stack of 14.7 million. Kenny Haller became the new chip leader with a stack of 18 million.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
