WSOP Dealer 'ChristIsLord' Defeats Phil Galfond in High-Stakes PLO Showdown
In a surprising turn of events, a World Series of Poker (WSOP) dealer, known by the screen name 'ChristIsLord' and YouTube handle 'ZefaPoker', played a high-stakes Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) game against poker legend Phil Galfond and emerged victorious.
ZefaPoker sold $3,700 out of his initial $10K buy-in and was willing to lose a couple of buy-ins before calling it quits. During the game, Galfond did not recognize the screen name 'ChristIsLord' and asked his viewers if any of them knew who he was up against.
Despite some questionable decisions, such as limp-folding too much and refusing to three-bet pocket kings, ZefaPoker managed to take his profit to $7,461, above the $5K stop-win he set himself. He then informed Galfond that he would be ending his shot, to which Galfond responded with a laugh and genuine happiness for ZefaPoker's win.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
