WSOP 2026: Jason Zipfel and Sebastian Pauli Crowned Champions in PLO and Razz Events

The 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) has seen some thrilling moments, with champions crowned in both the Pot Limit Omaha and Razz events.

Jason Zipfel emerged victorious in the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha event, earning a substantial $441,560 prize. Zipfel, a cash game specialist, beat out a field of 2,581 entrants to secure his first WSOP bracelet. This victory marks Zipfel's seventh career tournament cash and his first six-figure win. Prior to this, his best tournament result was in 2025 at the Venetian Las Vegas, where he earned his first six-figure cash. Zipfel had a significant chip lead as one of 15 remaining contenders by the close of day 2, and he maintained his lead throughout the final table, outlasting three previous bracelet winners.

In the $1,500 Razz event, Sebastian Pauli secured his first WSOP bracelet in a memorable heads-up battle against Dennis Weiss. Pauli, who had limited WSOP results, most notably finishing fourth in this exact tournament in 2013, persevered through a wild back-and-forth match. Pauli's victory earned him $135,564, making it his second-largest career live cash, behind only his 2014 European Poker Tour London main event win worth $802,971.
