WSOP 2022: Top Players Still Seeking Their First Bracelet
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2022 will be held from May 31 to July 20 at Bally's and Paris casinos.
Anatoly Zyrin, a WSOP specialist with two bracelets, suggests that frequent WSOP attendance, extensive grinding, and proficiency in various poker games increase the chances of winning a bracelet. Dan Smith, a super high roller and champion of WPT, EPT, and PokerGO Tour, has never won a WSOP bracelet despite 50 cashes in WSOP.
Isaac Hekston, despite nearly 20 years in poker and millions in winnings, has never won a WSOP or EPT bracelet. Alex Foxen needs to win three WSOP tournaments to match his wife Kristen's bracelet count. Shannon Shorr has 147 cashes in WSOP series but has yet to win a bracelet. Roland Israelashvili holds the record for the most cashes in WSOP history but still lacks a bracelet.
Christoph Vogelsang is known for his high roller status and distinctive fashion sense, but his chances of winning a bracelet are considered low due to his limited tournament choices. Adam Owen has numerous titles in various disciplines but lacks a WSOP bracelet.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
