WSOP 2013: New Features and Details Revealed

The 2013 World Series of Poker (WSOP) has announced several new features and details for its upcoming event. One of the most notable additions is The Millionaire Maker tournament, which will have a $1,500 buy-in and guarantee $1 million for the first place. This tournament will also feature a changed payout structure from the traditional WSOP format.

Another exciting development is the special tournament for women, which will offer a 10x discount on the buy-in for men, encouraging more participation from the female poker community. Additionally, the best player of the Daily Deepstack series will receive a ticket to the main WSOP 2013 tournament, adding an extra layer of competition and excitement.

The Carnivale of Poker series, which was last held from 1998 to 2000, will make a comeback in 2013. Tournaments will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays at 11 AM, with buy-ins ranging from $365 to $1,675. On days without evening tournaments, limit tournaments with the same buy-ins will be available at 5 PM. The series will also include a tournament for open Chinese poker with a $5,000 buy-in, and the top 10 players will share a $100,000 prize pool.
