WSOP 2012: Schedule Changes and Professional Opinions
The WSOP 2012 schedule was announced with a delay, and the series will run from May 27 to July 16 at the Rio in Las Vegas.
The main event will have three starting days and three second days, with all players combining on the third day. The final table will be determined on the seventh day, and the finalists will return to the Rio on October 28.
The number of tournaments has increased to 61, with a notable decrease in buy-ins for many events. The $1,000,000 tournament will start on July 1 at 1:11 AM local time, pushing the $50,000 championship to June 24.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
