WPT Poker Announces Shutdown Effective June 3, 2015

WPT Poker, a prominent player in the bwinparty network, has announced that it will be shutting down its operations effective June 3, 2015. This news was communicated to players via email, and detailed information is available on the WPT Poker website.

Players are advised to withdraw their funds within three months after the closure date. Any points accumulated in the player's account can be used until June 3, 2015. However, any unused points and incomplete bonuses will be lost after this date.

Tournament tickets and money will be converted into cash upon closure, allowing players to withdraw the funds within the specified time frame. For any further questions or clarifications, players are encouraged to review the terms and conditions on the WPT Poker website or contact their support team at [email protected].

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
