WPT Global Players to be Moved to Nexa Poker: What We Know

Some WPT Global players have received emails notifying them that their accounts will soon be transferred to another platform called Nexa Poker. The migration is set for March 2 and, according to the communication, players are not required to take any action, aside from possibly updating their client software.

The message states that existing balances, usernames, and passwords will move across automatically. After the transition is completed, affected players will access their accounts through Nexa Poker rather than the WPT Global client. A representative on the operator’s official Discord channel has confirmed that the emails are genuine and not a phishing attempt.

Most of the reports so far appear to be coming from Canada, though there have also been mentions from players in other countries, including Brazil and Peru. Nexa Poker is operated by Runstream Ltd, a company incorporated in Costa Rica. The platform holds a license issued by the Anjouan Offshore Authority.
