Wiktor Malinowski's Bold Bluff in Triton $100K SHR Main Event
Wiktor Malinowski has solidified his position as one of Poland's top poker players with a remarkable bluff in the $100K Triton Super High Roller Main Event in Cyprus. This move has catapulted him to second place on Poland's all-time tournament money list with $5,832,431 in cashes, trailing only Dzmitry Urbanovich's $6,259,530.
During the event, Malinowski executed a stone cold all-in bluff against Jean-Noel Thorel. This bold move was crucial in securing a third-place finish and a prize of $1,210,000. Thorel, who was in fourth place in chips when the hand began, failed to cash in the event.
Malinowski's aggressive play has sparked debate among poker players. Some, like mrmik, criticized the move, suggesting it was reckless and not a winning strategy. Daniel Negreanu responded to the criticism, defending Malinowski's play.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
