Wang Ye Wins First Triton Title in Jeju Turbo Event
Wang Ye won his first Triton Poker title at the 2026 Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju II. The tournament was a $30,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em turbo event with 23 entries. Wang Ye secured $256,000 and his first Triton trophy as the last player standing.
Wang Ye has more than $13.7 million in career earnings, with over $11.8 million coming from Triton events. The Chinese player had plenty of tough competition to deal with down the stretch, with each of the four players who joined him in making the money already having multiple Triton titles under their belts.
Benjamin Tollerene was the first to fall after the bubble burst, earning $65,000 for his fifth-place finish. Punnat Punsri landed the knockout blow on Tollerene, but soon found himself on the chopping block. Matthias Eibinger was the next to hit the rail, settling for $112,000 as the third-place finisher. Wang took a better than 2:1 chip lead into heads-up play with Kiat Lee.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
