Voters in Three States Reject Gambling Expansion Proposals

Voters in three states have rejected proposals to expand gambling. In Nebraska, voters rejected two referendums to legalize online sports betting, with around 54% voting against each proposal. FanDuel, DraftKings, Fanatics, and MGM spent more than $20 million in support of online sports betting in Nebraska.

Virginia Rejects Pari-Mutuel Wagering

In Virginia, Pulaski and Amherst County voters rejected proposals to legalize pari-mutuel wagering at satellite facilities, with 51% and 56% voting against respectively.

Indiana Voters Say No to Casino Proposal

Voters in Allen, DeKalb, and Steuben counties in Indiana rejected a proposal to build a future casino, with 58%, 65%, and 59% voting against respectively.
