Wild Poker Tales: Unusual Incidents at the Table
Poker is a game full of surprises, and sometimes those surprises can be downright bizarre. Here are some of the most unusual incidents that have occurred at poker tables around the world.
One player, Brendon wins_pot, shared a story about a drunk player who was ejected from a casino before his opponent could call his all-in bet. The opponent had a better hand, but the drunk player had left behind some chips at the bottom of a cup. The dealer moved the cup to the winner, who had to retrieve the chips himself.
A young Lebanese player made aggressive bets and verbally harassed an opponent, who eventually called his bluff with a better hand. The Lebanese player, who was known for his aggressive play, was left with only $100 after the incident.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
