Ukraine Legalizes Gambling: New Laws and Restrictions
On July 14, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a law regulating the organization and conduct of gambling activities. The law allows for the legal organization and conduct of gambling activities, including casinos, online gambling, bookmaking, gaming halls, and online poker, provided that a license is obtained and equipment is certified and connected to an online monitoring system.
The law prohibits banks, financial institutions, non-profit organizations, and entities banned by court decisions from organizing gambling activities.
The law requires identification of players both in gambling establishments and online, and prohibits individuals under 21, incapacitated persons, those under the influence of alcohol or drugs, unwanted players, and those restricted from gambling.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
